Back in the 90's, when I first started building planning solutions for clients, they were either run on spreadsheets or required big computers.


We built-out systems, slowly back then. Now we can create highly complex solutions rapidly with amazing user interfaces and add in reports and integration in a fraction of the time, which is better for us and our clients.

When I first saw Visual Planning, I knew I couldn't build anything like as good, so I became their UK distributor ... that was 9 years ago!

I had a few years running another business, a 150 seat Call Cantre based in Mauritius, before coming back to planning in 2011.


That is when I found Visual Planning and realised they were so far ahead of me, that I'd be stupid to try to catch them up.


I set about becoming the Sole UK Distributor of their software. Now, 9 years later, I have a wide range of clients all across the UK.

DISCOVER CALL AND FREE DEMO

We need to understand what you do, so that we can build a demo that fits and works for your business. Calls don't take long, but make a lot of difference.


Calls allow us to see if we can help and if there is a good fit. After all, you don't want to waste your time, anymore than we do and Discovery calls and Demos are free!

SPEC CALLS

Once you've seen your demo and decided to proceed, we hold a detailed Specification Call. This is where we go through the details we need to build out your planner.


Calls take a couple of hours and may require more than one call. This time allows us to go off and work on your behalf. You may need to send us some information (e.g. staff names to import, etc.)

03.

APPLICATION BUILD

This is when the magic happens. We translate your process flows, resources, requirements and reports into one single planner.


The time taken will depend on your specification, but we'll keep you in touch with progress.

04.

INSTALLATION AND TRAINING

Don't worry, we'll help you through this process, in fact, for Cloud Clients, we'll do it all for you! We'll setup your server, load up your planner and help to setup your Users and Admin.


You will then receive Training on the software and how best to use it. This includes basic training as well as optional advanced training, such as how to build your own views/reports/filters, etc.


We record all training, so you can watch it whenever you want.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Many Users Can I Have?

There is no strict limit and some clients have over 100,000 users, so most businesses will be ok. There are balances we can setup once you get a large system in place, so if you think you are likely to have an issue, please give us a call.

Can I Use VP On A Mobile?

Sure. there is a Mobile App, called VP Go.


It is available in the App Stores, so you can simply download it.


The Floating version works on-line only, but the named version is a true app and works off-line too!

Can I Have Multiple Views?

Yes. You can show the data (or information) you need in many different ways and setup mltiple views that work for each audience or user that need to access that data.


Views include: Schedule, Diary, List, Kanban, Reports (Tabular data and Graphical), and many more ...

Can I Integrate With Other Apps?

Of course. The easiest way is using import/export (ssv/Excel/Database), but there is also POST options as well as a full API.


This means you can work with most leading databases, accounting systems and HR platforms.

Can I Set Multiple User Levels?

Yes. The Admin Control Panel let's you set up multiple user levels, such as Director, Finance, Shop Floor, etc.


Each Group will receive the same rights, or you can give special rights to certain individuals.


User Rights cover add/delete, edit, etc.

What Licences Are Available?

There are a number of different licences. They fall into 3 types:

  • VPE (Desktop)
  • VP Portal (Browser)
  • VP Go (Mobile)

Desktop users are your main users, such as planers, schedulers, project managers, directors, etc. They will tend to spend some time on the software daily and move/edit the planner.


Browser users will use fewer views and do less editing, but will need to be able to see things when required, on their PC/Mac or tablet.


Mobile users will typically be checking what they are doing and updating basic information, such as job status, etc. The mobile app will not work on a tablet or desktop device.


Each licence can be named (for a specific user) or floating (shared between multiple users, based on concurrent use).


Licences can be hosted on our servers in the Cloud or by you, On-Premise.


Do You Provide Help Setting It Up?

Sure. In fact, we usually prepare all of your initial build for you, so that you are 'ready to go'.


We know our way round the planner and this means we can build it in the optimum way, in the shortest time and with the minimum of fuss.


We call this support Consultancy and it covers Setup, Development, Training and Functional Support.

Is My Data Backed Up?

Yes, daily. All cloud accounts are backed up daily and stored for 2 or 3 days. For on-premise clients, you manage your own servers, so it is up to you to arrange this, but the software includes elements to assist you.

Will It Work Across Multiple Sites?

Yes. We have clients with many sites and multiple planners, looking after 100,000+ staff and resources.


It can be setup in many ways, so gove us a shout and we'll help you decide what would work best.

Is There A Limit On Recourses?

Not really. You can have as many as you want. They could be staff, skills, vehicles, machines, roles, activities, clients, jobs, etc.

The biggest single benefit will usually be TIME. The more time you save, the more time you have to make the decisions that matter.


But that isn't the only benefit. If you allocate more effectively, or efficiently, then you will be saving FINANCIALLY, as you won't be over or under allocating expensive resources, such as staff, machines or vehicles.

ELIMINATE LOW LEVEL COMMUNICATIONS

A lot of the day is often taken up with 'low level' communications. If this can be reduced, or eliminated, then all communication will be valuable (to both parties) and help to drive the business forward.


Simplifying and automating communications is the key to reducing this low-level communication. Ironically, it typically provides and shares more information, makes it more available and of a higher quality. It also empowers staff by including them at a greater level.

SHARE AND CONQUER

Sharing real time information allows you to make higher quality decisions faster and to share the information with others instantly, through messaging, apps and emails.


By including all relevant staff, they become a greater part of the overall process. Their imput feeds your decisions and your decisions feed back to them, allowing them to get on with doing their jobs.
