We need to understand what you do, so that we can build a demo that fits and works for your business. Calls don't take long, but make a lot of difference.
Calls allow us to see if we can help and if there is a good fit. After all, you don't want to waste your time, anymore than we do and Trials and On-Boarding Calls for free!
Once you've run your trial, we'll see if any changes need to be made to make your system more applicable to you and your business. If it is 'ready to go', then all you need are licences.
If you need a bit of customisation, our Spec Calls run through what is needed and how we can implement it for you.
Calls can take a couple of hours and you may require more than one call. All work is performed by our consultants and we'll give you an estimate of time required before we start. You may need to send us some information (e.g. staff names to import, etc.)
Don't worry, we'll help you through this process, in fact, for Cloud Clients, we'll do it all for you! We'll setup your server, load up your planner and help to setup your Users and Admin.
You will then receive Training on the software and how best to use it. This includes basic training as well as optional advanced training, such as how to build your own views/reports/filters, etc.
We record all training, so you can watch it whenever you want.
How Many Users Can I Have?
There is no strict limit and some clients have over 100,000 users, so most businesses will be ok. There are balances we can setup once you get a large system in place, so if you think you are likely to have an issue, please give us a call.
Can I Use VP On A Mobile?
Sure. there is a Mobile App, called VP Go. It is available in the App Stores, so you can simply download it.
The Floating version works on-line only, but the named version is a true app and works off-line too!
Can I Have Multiple Views?
Yes. You can show the data (or information) you need in many different ways and setup mltiple views that work for each audience or user that need to access that data.
Can I Integrate With Other Apps?
Of course. The easiest way is using import/export (ssv/Excel/Database), but there is also POST options as well as a full API.
This means you can work with most leading databases, accounting systems and HR platforms.
Can I Set Multiple User Levels?
Yes. The Admin Control Panel let's you set up multiple user levels, such as Director, Finance, Shop Floor, etc.
Each Group will receive the same rights, or you can give special rights to certain individuals.
User Rights cover add/delete, edit, etc.
What Licences Are Available?
There are a number of different licences. They fall into 3 types:
Desktop users are your main users, such as planers, schedulers, project managers, directors, etc. They will tend to spend some time on the software daily and move/edit the planner.
Browser users will use fewer views and do less editing, but will need to be able to see things when required, on their PC/Mac or tablet.
Mobile users will typically be checking what they are doing and updating basic information, such as job status, etc. The mobile app will not work on a tablet or desktop device.
Each licence can be named (for a specific user) or floating (shared between multiple users, based on concurrent use).
Licences can be hosted on our servers in the Cloud or by you, On-Premise.
Do You Provide Help Setting It Up?
Sure. In fact, we usually prepare all of your initial build for you, so that you are 'ready to go'.
We know our way round the planner and this means we can build it in the optimum way, in the shortest time and with the minimum of fuss.
We call this support Consultancy and it covers Setup, Development, Training and Functional Support.
Is My Data Backed Up?
Yes, daily. All cloud accounts are backed up daily and stored for 2 or 3 days. For on-premise clients, you manage your own servers, so it is up to you to arrange this, but the software includes elements to assist you.
Will It Work Across Multiple Sites?
Yes. We have clients with many sites and multiple planners, looking after 100,000+ staff and resources.
It can be setup in many ways, so gove us a shout and we'll help you decide what would work best.
Is There A Limit On Resources?
Not really. You can have as many as you want. They could be staff, skills, vehicles, machines, roles, activities, clients, jobs, etc.
