WHY PLANNING?
After years working in retail management and owning and running businesses in manufacturing and telecomms, one thing joined them all up ... planning.
It just seemed a logical step. Initially, I developed a platform to resell. After a few years, I came across Visual Planning and decided reselling for them would be much better and it was.
Now, after nearly 14 years, I still love the challenges set by our clients and amazing them with the platform and their customised solutions.

About 14 years ago, Oakfield became the sole VAR for Visual Planning in the UK. We trained extensively in Paris, plus developed our own in-house training, and now we support sales, development, training and support for our client base.
We provide various types of licences, including cloud and on-premise, and operate on desktop, laptop/tablet and mobile (iOS and Android). We now have users in over 85 countries, but mainly focus on UK sales.

Most of our discussions start with clients talking us through their issues, be it a desire for a better way to plan, being fed up with wasting time, or, just an interest in efficient planning and scheduling of resources.
The resources vary. They typically include Clients, Jobs, Staff, Activities, Statuses and Events that need to be managed. For some it includes Machines, or Vehicles, or, Equipment. They are all resources.
Once you have more then 3 resources, a modern planning solution, such as Visual Planning, will let you see what is going on, who is doing it, what status it is at, etc. and record, update, share all of this information with your team(s).
